Foxconn Employees Tragedy

You should be paying attention to a giant manufacturer employees tragedy. Foxconn Technology Group, one of the largest motherboard manufacturers in the world, has up to 12 staffs suicided in China factory due to unknown recently. The initial suspect is the employees are overloaded with the works and pressure from the superiors due to high volume of stock orders, as well as unable to communicate properly with others.

Some reporters attempted to investigate the truth of Foxconn employee suicide incident. Unfortunately, Foxconn is yet to announce to them anything for the time being. According to the interview with some of the Foxconn's staffs, they admitted they are overloaded with works and pressure, and some of them admitted they have no friends to talk to. The reporters also slipped in to the working environment, but the outcome is good. Foxconn is providing employees a good facility and working environment, such as library, sports complex, canteen, etc.

Do you know iphone components are also made by Foxconn manufacturer?

To counter measure the problem, Foxconn has taken some actions such as rising the staff wages for 20%, hire consultant to alleviate the pressures and communicate with the existing employees.

Anyway, such incident does not affecting the job applicants. There are thousands of them queuing to work with Foxconn. When the reporter interviewed with some job applicants, they said those employees who suicided were stupid, they would seek for other channels to solve this problem. Well, from my opinion, these people should not say so, as they only say that when the incident has occurred. At least they should respect the people who pass away.

A lot of Chinese complained about this incident. So what's next?

We all know the competition between IT manufacturers are getting competitive, and high cost with lower margin. But the bottom line is we are still human, we have limitation. So Foxconn cannot just think from the profit point of view from the beginning. No matter what it is, damage has been made and we hope the price is not too heavy for Foxconn. Let's see what's next for her.

No Fuel Subsidy for Malaysian?

"Is it true? No fuel subsidy for us anymore? How can you do that to us? We are used to it!"

According to Idris, "If we do not do anything, by 2019, our debt will equal our GDP. We do not want to end up as another Greece". He also said that Malaysia will save RM103bil over the next five years if it slashes the fuel subsidy bill now.

Okay, it may be true. But I have some questions for Idris. With the floating price of international fuel price, the estimation may not be accurate. The existing subsidy scheme and strategy also are not effective, as the rich also sharing the same subsidy. Cut down the fuel subsidy is not a comprehensive solution, where the Government shouldn't provide subsidy in the first place. A better win-win solution needs to be bring up. What about other expenses to cut down apart from fuel subsidy? Your pay? What about the bio-diesel plan executed in many years back? Why the Government still wants to sponsor astronaut?

Okay, sorry, I just have too many questions. Perhaps you should think of how to increase our income, country's economy, and Malaysian's financial education before talk about elimination of fuel subsidy.

Google Search Engine Update

I hate Google, because it deprived my Google Adsense income. On the other hand, I love Google. This is because it's search engine is so convenient for me to do research, and I'm using Blogger.com to do free blogging. What a dilemma situation for me. But no doubt, I will still share anything good about Google.

If you are a Google search engine regular user, you must be noticing there is some changes on Google search engine outcome page. Well, I believe some of you might not notice it due to 'machineary reaction'. Basically Google has categorized the search outcome into sections such as news, photo, books, videos, etc. The purpose is to allow end user to look for more accurate outcome by category. Apart from that, outcome also can be displayed based on history.

All you can find is on the left hand bar on the outcome page. It is there by default. Just click 'Everything' to go back to the original search result. Perhaps you will get what I say with the video below.

Enjoy your 'Googling', folks!

According to Wong, he was inspired by his father since he is very young. He enhanced his knowledge by reading all sort of self-improve and business books. The only purpose of reading those books is to understand the business model and how it can brings income to him.

In his 14, he designed a math's topic blog and managed to sell it for USD38. And he made quite some attempts and failed, until come out an online business named "Sifu Profit System". This system basically is to help you to sell your business online, or perhaps sell your blog/web page to others. And within 3 months, he managed to sell this system to people around the world and gain his first RM10,000 profit.

What a business talented, mature and aggressive boy. He really has a good start with his age advantage. I wish him all the best. If you are interested to further looking into what system he is offering, you may visit his product & service web site.
