The World's Richest Men

Forbes just released the 2010 Forbes list of the World's Billionaires 2 days ago. Surprisingly, there are some changes on the position of the top 20 richest man in the world.

For the third time in three years, the world has emerged a new richest man, he is a Mexican tycoon, Carlos Slim Helu. Basically he managed to accumulate his wealth up to US$53.5 billions with the surging prices of his multiple telecom companies. Seems like telecom business is better than Information technology and investment business for the time being huh!

Carlos, at his 70 managed to beat Americans Bill Gates and my favorite man, Warren Buffet to become the richest man on earth, by gaining US$18.5 billions in 12 months on top of his existing wealth. America Movil, one of his holdings, were up 35% within a year, which assist him to go up so promptly. Imaging if Warren bought some of his company shares, will Warren be the richest man in the world then?

The youngest billionaire has something to say?

The only Asian in the top 10, Mukesh Ambani at his age of 52, is successfully accumulated wealth of US$29 billions in oil & gas industry and ranking at top 4. By the way, he is the youngest man in the top 10 list, what a proud for Asian!

The only Chinese in the top 20 list, Li Ka-Shing from Hong Kong dropped his rank to top 14, with the net worth of US$21 billions. He is 2 years old elder than Warren.

Many people predicting, there will be a man from China to be ranked at top 20 in the next couple of years. Is it true?
